Kirk is Head of the Architectural Technologies and Building Performance Department within the School of Architecture Building and Environment at Technological University Dublin. Kirk was previously chairman of the Irish Design Awards and is a past President of the Institute of Designers in Ireland (IDI) (2018/19).
